# Maths Worksheet Maker (Variants A/B/C with Answers) > Times tables, column sums, division and fractions — seeded variants with answer keys. Make maths worksheets for the classroom or home: times tables, column addition and subtraction with or without carrying, long multiplication, division with or without remainders, fractions, or a mix of facts. Up to six variants (A to F) give neighbours different problems of the same difficulty, each with its answer key. Part of usefulweb.site (https://usefulweb.site/). Part of [Printshop](https://printshop.usefulweb.site/) (ownerApp: printshop). Results are deterministic calculations from the inputs and the listed assumptions; the API returns exactly what the web page shows. ## Use it - Human interface: https://printshopmathworksheet.usefulweb.site/ (interactive tool at https://printshopmathworksheet.usefulweb.site/tool) - JSON API: POST https://printshopmathworksheet.usefulweb.site/api/v1/calculate with a JSON object of inputs (schema: https://printshopmathworksheet.usefulweb.site/api/v1/tool) - OpenAPI: https://printshopmathworksheet.usefulweb.site/openapi.json - MCP (Streamable HTTP): https://printshopmathworksheet.usefulweb.site/mcp - tool `printshop_math_worksheet` ## Inputs - kind (select): Exercises - count (integer): Problems per variant - variants (integer): Variants (A, B, C …) - tables (text): Times tables - For times tables and mixed facts, e.g. 2-10 or 3, 4, 7. - maxFactor (integer): Largest factor - digits (integer): Digits per number (column sums, multiplication) - regroup (boolean): Carrying and borrowing - digits2 (integer): Digits of the second number (multiplication, division) - remainder (boolean): Division with remainders - maxDenominator (integer): Largest denominator (fractions) - fractionOps (select): Fraction operations - sameDenominator (boolean): Same denominators only - seed (text): Seed - The same seed and settings always give the same puzzles. Change it for new ones. - title (text): Title on the page (optional) - answers (boolean): Answer-key pages - header (boolean): Name and date line - paper (select): Paper size - orientation (select): Orientation ## Method - Each variant letter has its own seeded random stream (seed + letter), so variant B is always the same for the same seed and differs from A. Repeated problems are avoided within a variant. - Column addition without carrying keeps every digit sum below 10; subtraction without borrowing keeps every digit of the first number at least as large as the one below it (and the result never negative). With regrouping allowed, problems that actually need it are preferred. - Division problems are built backwards (divisor × quotient + remainder), so answers are whole numbers. Fraction answers are reduced with the greatest common divisor; subtraction never goes below zero. ## Limits - Check that the exercise type fits the class level; the generator does not follow a particular curriculum.
